ES RECUPEREN TRES ELEMENTS PREEXISTENTS, DE MATERIALITAT IMPERFECTA, COL·LOCATS INTENCIONADAMENT EN CONTRAST AMB EL FONS BLANC I NEUTRE DE LA RESTA DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓ: LES TEULES CERÀMIQUES, ELS ANTICS ENCADELLATS CERÀMICS DE COBERTA REUTILITZATS COM A PAVIMENT, I UNA JÀSSERA DE FUSTA DE ROURE.
LA DISTRIBUCIÓ DE L’HABITATGE S’ESTRUCTURA EN DOS ESPAIS QUE CORRESPONEN A LES DUES VESSANTS DE COBERTA. L’ESPAI MÉS AMPLE, DE FORMA QUADRADA, ES DIVIDEIX PER UN MUR NOU D’APARENÇA GRUIXUDA, QUE CONTÉ ESTANTERIES FORMADES A BASE DE FORATS I RECORDA AL LLENGUATGE DE MURS PESANTS UTILITZATS EN LA CONSTRUCCIÓ TRADICIONAL.

External walls are kept as they are and the roofing and the interior slabs are partially rebuilt with new construction materials that are painted white.
Three pre-existing elements are reclaimed, which are materially imperfect and are deliberately positioned so as to contrast with the white and neutral backgrounds of the rest of the construction: the ceramic tiles; the old interlocking ceramic roofing bricks reused as flooring; and an oak beam.
The distribution of the dwelling is structured around two spaces that reflect to the two slopes of the roofing. The largest space, square in shape, is divided by a new wall, which is thick and contains shelves in dug-out recesses, recalling the language of peasants’ walls used in traditional construction.
